Why Shop with Us?
There is no additional cost when shopping with GiveandShop. We simply set up the connection for you to use the stores' sites in the same way you would if you went to their site directly. We collect commission from the retailer on your purchase, which then allows us to give half of the site's profit to charity. So, you shop online at the same great prices as you would at your retailer and you are also responsible for contributing to your cause. Most importantly, the more often you shop with us the more money you provide to your favorite charities.

We keep our staff and overhead as small as possible so that we can maximize our profit to the charities.

We are committed to maintaining high ethical standards. We review all charities and retailers before adding them to the site and we hold the right to exclude or banish any retailers or charities with which we do not wish to be associated for reasons that could tarnish the reputation of GiveandShop. Our auditors ensure that all monies promised in the contracts go to each charity.

Charity and Retailer Participation
We are helping all types of charities - large and small; global and local. The purpose of allowing you to choose your charity is so we do not discriminate based on our personal preferences where we think the proceeds should go. Some charities elected to briefly describe on our site what kind of services they provide and others simply have a link to connect to their site. We are grateful that many of the charities listed on our site promote us through their advertising channels and are hopeful that more will do the same.

Retailers find working with us is both good for their general profits and appreciate that half of the commission earned goes to charity.

Vision
We feel this cause-based shopping concept still has not hit its full capabilities mainly due to the fact that people are unaware. Why would people that would otherwise buy from these retailers not go through us given half the proceeds go to charity? Our goal is to increase awareness of this concept to help stimulate both the economy and charity fund raising. In addition to providing assistance to those in need, you will be contributing in something that you can take pride in.
